FCC Radio Operator Permit

Required for international operations. Here's exactly where to get it.

What is it? The FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is required for any pilot operating an aircraft radio in international airspace or at foreign airports. It takes about 15 minutes to apply online and costs $35. Most pilots don't know they need it until they're about to deploy or take a contract overseas.
